NMR Consulting Awarded $5,000 State Grant

State of Maryland, Office of the Governor awards NMR Consulting grant to market products and services overseas

ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 9, 2009 – The Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) selected NMR Consulting (NMR) as an Export MD award recipient. The Export MD grant assists Maryland-based businesses looking to expand internationally export their products and services. Only 17 grants were awarded to Maryland firms this fiscal year.

Throughout 2008, NMR executives traveled to Europe to establish teaming partners, undertake business development efforts with government and commercial prospects, and exhibit at the Farnborough International Airshow in Farnborough, England. The grant received from the Governor’s Office has been used to offset the costs associated with establishing sales in the European market.

“It is an honor to be chosen from among the pool of distinguished applicants,” said NMR Vice President Dennis Smythe. “We are privileged to represent the State of Maryland in the International market.”
